FNIA, PPNIA (First Female President of The Nigerian Institute of Architects, NIA)      

An alumnus of Queen’s College and Ahmadu Bello University, where she obtained her B.Sc. and Master’s degrees in Architecture, her career began in 1970 at Modulor Group of Architects. She later worked in England before joining the Lagos State Polytechnic as a Senior Lecturer and Head of Department of Architecture.

She transitioned to the public sector in 1985, where she made significant contributions to various projects in Lagos State, including the construction of educational and healthcare facilities. Throughout her career, she held key positions in the Lagos State Ministry of Works and Transport, Ministry of Housing, and Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development. She oversaw the design and construction of numerous important structures such as hospitals, fire stations, housing estates, and educational facilities.

Her expertise and dedication led to her appointment as a Permanent Secretary in the Lagos State government, where she managed major projects like the Abraham Adesanya Estate and various housing schemes.

She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and served as the first Female President of the institute from 2001 to 2003. Known for her leadership and mentorship, she has been actively involved in professional organizations and has received several awards for her meritorious service in the field of architecture. In addition to her architectural practice, she is the Managing Director of Promaco Associates Ltd, a firm of Project Management and Engineering Consultants.

Her diverse interests include interacting with people, dancing, cooking, gardening, and engaging in charitable activities within her church community.
